What's going on for you in
THE YEAR OF THE RAT?

RAT

A very good year for shrewd and ambitious rats who love being in the rat race. Finances are tricky so avoid lending or borrowing money as well as gambling or other financial speculation. Save money for the winter and consider moving your nest to a place more suited to your pocketbook.

OX

Rat is Ox’s good buddy.  While others find the smell of the rat odious, you don’t have a problem with Rat’s power plays, just his pace (and not just at work). When you look around at others, you wonder if life is passing you by. Find more emotional satisfaction. It’s not always about the money.

TIGER

2008 is a frustrating year for Tiger since the Rat and the Tiger are temperamentally miles apart. Petty power struggles over money and position can sap your energy so do your best to stay away from Rats.  Keep your focus on the big picture, travel, make changes and resist giving in to trivial concerns.

RABBIT

There can be disharmony, worries, irritation, and health challenges as Rat forms a negative relationship with Rabbit.  Still, there are some work opportunities. The Ox can be your friend, so carry an ox pendant for luck. If you’re single and looking, this is an excellent time for romance.

DRAGON

A great year for Dragon since Rat is one of your closest pals. Rat’s concern with new beginnings meshes perfectly with your agenda. And so much admiration!  You’ll be called upon to direct and lead and there’s nothing you enjoy more. Also, 2008 is an excellent year for finances and romance.

SNAKE

The Rat year will be a welcome respite from Pig’s excess. You’ll enjoy better health and position in the work arena but it’s prudent to keep an eye on your finances and not loan or borrow.  Take problems one at a time and put the highest priority on maintaining your serenity and good health.

HORSE

If at all possible, curb your free–spirited nature, keep a low profile and try not to rile authorities. Rats and Horses don’t get along.  It’s a clash between water and fire. Pay attention around both and take anti-oxidants, COQ10 and other natural protection against cardiovascular and inflammation problems.

SHEEP

The Rat year’s milieu of rough and tumble politics could cause placid Sheep some anxiety. Take up Yoga, Tai Chi, or Qi Gong to build up your spiritual awareness and waltz through the rat’s maze.  Fortunately, your work will be rewarded, your finances are improving, and romance beckons.

MONKEY

Romance, good fortune, and opportunities for professional success are here right now! Find a Rat to share your monkey business with and make sure your insurance premiums are paid up in case of floods, fires, or other unforeseen events. After a difficult few years, energy is now in Monkey’s favor.

ROOSTER

The Rat year brings practicality to the profligate Rooster. Dipping into your savings is painful so get with the Rat’s program of frugality and ambition. Turn your job situation around instead of trying to escape its tedium. Keep yourself healthy and serene and the rat race won’t disturb you.

DOG

Work is good but all this attention to business and money can make you a dull dog. Zip the lip.  Hide your idealism and wait for more conducive times. Fortunately, you’ve got plenty of energy and your health is robust. So redeem yourself by using the Rat year to study something that stimulates your soul.

PIG

The pace of the Rat year might be a bit too frantic for your nature, but at least Rat respects your personal power and charisma.  So go for what you want.  You’ll have a lot of support for whatever path you choose to take. A good year for business in spite of minor delays and/or financial difficulties.
